Bernstein

Bernstein, named for the Woodward and Bernstein of Watergate fame, became the CMU SPJ mascot in 2014. He has lived an interesting life, spending one spring semester in the trunk of the chapter president’s car. He was rescued when the new chapter president asked, “Hey, where’s Bernstein?” He disappeared again the following fall, but he was found – only slightly ruffled – behind a bedroom dresser of the then-chapter president.
